Grape - Bacchus

Description

Named after the god of wine in mythological times, this is a mid-season outdoor white grape which produces an excellent Sauvignon Blanc-style wine, or which can be eaten as a table grape if left to fully ripen. It is very successfully grown in commercial vineyards in the UK, including in the award-winning ‘Ryedale Vineyards’ not far from the RV Roger nursery. This is one of the top 5 most planted varieties in the UK.
