Betula chinensis 'Albecks Gold' Std (Bush)

Erman's birch, is a species of birch tree found in Northeast China, Korea, Japan, and far eastern Russian growing up to 20 metres tall. It is noted for its cream tinged peeling white bark, which can sometimes be removed in sheets, but usually shreds and hangs from the trunk and under branches. Long yellow-brown catkins appear with the leaves in spring which turn a bright yellow in autumn.
