These look very similar to Grape Hyacinths (Muscari), in that the flowers are held in tight clusters, with the lowest flowers opening first. However each individual flower has a coloured mouth, making them that bit more special. Both species we have are fully hardy and suitable for any well drained soil. They prefer full sun and do like to be dry over the summer. Plant approximately 10cms deep.
