Description

Pale greenish-yellow, half or more covered with orange red flush and stripes. Crops regularly with crisp, juicy fruit of very good flavour and of medium size. Recommended by RHS Wisley. Protect fruit from bird damage, bears fruit on tips and spurs. The flowers are tolerant of late frosts. It was raised by Mr George Cave in 1923 of Dovercourt, Essex though not named until 1945.
