Description
Very unusual variety from the United States - the flowers have no petals, and the fruit have no seed! A naturally occurring genetic mutation means that this variety sets fruit without the need for pollination (called parthenocarpic fruit, for the botanists amongst you). Angular fruit with a definite waist, yellow-green with a deep crimson flush. Quite sweet flesh, with a mild pleasant taste. For help with choosing the correct rootstock for your needs, please click here A Guide to Rootstocks
