Rhubarb - Goliath

Description

As the name suggests, a very vigorous mid-season variety that produces a high yield of long, thick, and straight stems, which are dark red at the base, fading to green at the leaf. However, when forced, the stems are a deep red throughout. This easy to grow variety has a good flavour and was rated highly at an RHS taste test at Harlow Carr. It is an ideal variety for preserves and jam as well as desserts.
