Roses are ready to order now
Order bare root roses for delivery before the end of March 2026. The current crop responded very well to the warm weather we had last summer - most of the varieties we offer have put on some of the strongest growth we can remember. Bare root plants are the traditional (and still the best) way to plant roses, ensuring a superb root system and good establishment before they come into growth in the spring. Orders for roses are normally despatched within 7 days (weather-permitting).

Fruit Trees - order now for delivery before the end of March 2026
Order bare root fruit trees, soft fruit and nut trees for delivery before the end of the March 2026. The range we offer is second to none, both in terms of varieties, choice of rootstocks and trained fruit trees. All are grown here in Pickering on our 240 acre nursery, by full-time skilled nursery workers, using traditional techniques. As ever, if you have any questions, we're always on hand to help guide you through the process, to make sure you get the right trees for your needs.

Delivery and collection update
Despite the continued wet weather, we are still lifting plants as quickly as we can. There is a currently a 1-2 week turnaround for new orders for trees and shrubs. Rose orders will be sent out within 7 days of the order being placed. There is still plenty of time to order and plant bare root trees this season, and we're always happy to reserve stock for delivery later in February/March if you are not ready to plant just yet. For customers who have chosen to collect their orders, we'll be in touch as soon as possible to arrange a convenient collection date.
