Very attractive, early spring flowering bulbs. Each bulb will produce of number a small, 6-petaled, star shaped flowers in mainly blues and pinks. Best grown rockeries or pots. Some are also suitable for naturalising where they will self-seed freely.
Chionodoxa have now offically been moved into the Scilla family, but we list them here under their old name.
How to plant Chionodoxa bulbs:
Fully hardy to frost hardy. Plant bulbs 7cm (3") deep in any well drained soil, preferably in full sun. Excellent at naturalising in grass, or a gravel garden.
