Halesia carolina

Description

A rare and unusual shrub grown for its beautiful and delicate looking flowers. Has oval, light green leaves that turn yellow in the autumn. In late spring just before the leaves emerge, masses of pure white, snow-drop like flowers hang down from the stems. These are followed by winged, green fruits. A wonderful addition to any spring garden. Height and spread 7m (21ft).
