Description

A hugely popular shrub and rightly so. The main attraction, as well as the long panicles of white flowers, is the outstanding spring foliage from which it takes its name. The young leaves are a range of orange-red, changing through pink to become creamy white and then dark green. Again it must have acid soil but does very well in tubs. Height 3m (9ft).
