Semi-double flowers open from crimson buds, turning pale-pink, and open out flat and white, with a distinctive wave to the petals. Good disease resistance. Raised by Antoine A. Jacques (France) 1826 from a cross between Rosa sempervirens x Old Blush.Named after the Princesse Adélaïde d Orléans, the adored twin sister of King Louis Phillippe, this is a handsome rambler with long, lax stems that are ideal for training over arches or pergola.RHS AGM in 1993
