Double shell pink blooms with a lightly cupped shape and ruffled petals that have darker edges. Excellent disease resistance. Raised by Marie-Louise Meilland (France) 1985 from a cross between (Rosa sempervirens x Mademoiselle Marthe Carron) x Picasso.Bonica has a spectacular main flowering, and the repeats at intervals through the season, followed by bright red hips that often persist until springtimeRHS AGM 1993
