Cherry-crimson blooms appear in clusters all along the previous seasons growth. Excellent disease resistance. Raised by Mathias Tantau (Germany) 1937 from a cross between Rosa multibracteata x Crimson Glory.Forms a very prickly shrub with pale stems , and despite being a once-flowering kind - the effect is spectacular when in full bloom.
