Very double, deep pink, cupped blooms held aloft on upright stems. Slight disease resistance. Raised by Moreau-Robert (France) 1860 from a cross between Baronne Prevost x Portland Rose.Amongst the most popular 19th C roses. For one week (only) in 1830, the Comte de Chambord was regarded by his supporters as King Henry V.
