Description

Very deep velvet red double flowers borne through to the first frost.. Good disease resistance. Raised by Matthias Leenders (Netherlands) 1931 from a sport of Étoile De Hollande from a cross between General MacArthur x Hadley.A good repeat flowering variety, it will bloom more strongly if trained sideways over the winter-time to encourage more leaves and flower breaks along the nodes.RHS AGM 1993
