Scarlet lightly-double blooms that are yellow at the base with a golden tuft of stamens are borne mostly singly. Raised by Eugene S. Gene" Boerner (USA) 1956 from a cross between Seedling of Pinocchio (floribunda, Kordes, 1940) × seedling of Numa Faye, and was introduced by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1959.
