Description

A pretty, small flowered rugosa with dark pink double flowers that have a frilled edge. Excellent disease resistance. Raised by FJ Grootendoorst (Netherlands) 1918 from a cross between Rosa rugosa x unknown polyantha.Almost constantly in flower, this variety was named after the founder of the Grootendorst nursery in Boskoop. It is hardy, healthy and free-flowering, and looks extremely good in a mixed border.
