Medium-sized carmine red loose semi-double blooms with silky rumpled petals.. Excellent disease resistance. Raised by Schaum & Van Tol () 1905.One of the best of all garden roses. Vigorous and healthy, long-flowering and with large vermilion hips in the autumn. It ‘suckers’, so makes for fine hedging material.
