Repeat flowering, each bloom is a deep rose-pink swirl of petals. Excellent disease resistance. Raised by Jean Desprez (France) 1842.Named after the explorer Jacques Cartier, born in St Malo - the first European to map the gulf of St. Lawrence, whilst searching for the western route to Asia.
