Description

Semi-double fragrant yellow flowers on healthy foliage.. Good disease resistance. Raised by Kordes (Germany) 1953 from a cross between Poulsen’s Pink x Frühlingstag.Comes into flower early (and hence the name ‘MayGold’) with a substantial flush. The flowers are slightly ‘ragged’ in appearance, but have a beautiful crown of crimson filamentsRHS AGM 1993
