Large full double mauve flowers. Good disease resistance. Raised by Jean Laffay (France) 1855, and was introduced by Portemer in 1855.Named after the 19th c Cornish plant collector William Lobb, this very tall rose will need support, or the stems can be pegged down to the ground, when they will flower along their length
