A relative of the gooseberry, this produces huge crops of small dark red berries which are sweet enough to eat straight off the plant or else make the most wonderful jam. Very disease-resistant - perfect for those fed-up with gooseberry mildew! Vigourous and thorny, so allow plenty of space.
