Welcome to RV Roger nurseries. Since 1913 we have been growing hardy nursery stock here in the Vale of Pickering, North Yorkshire. Over the past 100 years the range of fruit, ornamental trees and shrubs, roses and bulbs has expanded enormously, such that today over 16,000 plants, bulbs and seeds are here on the website for you to browse. We have supplied plants to Royal households, Chelsea Gold Medal-winning designers, RHS gardens and large estates as well as private gardens and allotment holders across the country. Our staff are all not only passionate about plants, but highly knowledgable and always happy to advise. We can take orders through the site or over the phone at the nursery. Enjoy our selection.

Although the vast majority of fruit trees that we offer are field-grown and only available in the winter months, we do have a range of containerised plants which we are able to send out in the Spring. Order now for delivery with 14 days.

Roses - Coming Soon

The 2024/25 bare root season has now closed. The fresh crop of containerised roses will be available as from the middle of May - the wesbite will be updated at Easter to allow pre-orders.

Bare Root Season Now Closed

The season for bare root trees, hedging and fruit has now closed. All remaining orders will be sent out week commencing 31st March. This has been an extremely busy season for us, so we'd like to thank all of our wonderful customers for their orders, it really is much appreciated. Whilst the spades are put away for the summer, instead our attention on the nursery turns to planting thousands of new rootstocks, and then pruning and training young trees ready for despatch in November. The website will be updated over the coming weeks to allow pre-orders for supply in November 2025.
