Description

A common sight in our hedgerows, this very tough small to medium sized tree is suitable both as an ornamental specimen or as part of a woodland grouping. Forms a round headed tree with quite corky stems, even on young trees. Has 5-lobed, mid green leaves that turn brilliant yellow in the autumn. Grows well in sun or shade, acid or alkaline soil and will tolerate damp areas too.
