Description

Thought to have been brought over from France in the late 1600s, this is one of the finest-flavoured of the late dessert varieties - intense, sweet, richly aromatic flavour with an exotic scent. A very heavy cropper, but can be prone to canker in the wetter parts of the UK, although -æmargells-Æ have been grown successfully in south Cumbria for 200 years.
