Description

A self-fertile selection of Cox's Orange Pippin discovered by Maclean in the early 1950s and added to the National Fruit trials in 1953. This is a wonderful late dessert apple, more highly coloured than the normal Cox, but with the same fantastic flavour. Unfortunately not reliable in the North.
