Description

Found in a garden in Lakenham, Norwich in 1794, and probably a seedling or ‘sort’ of Bramley’s Seedling, this is a very fine dual purpose apple. Large, handsome fruit, green with dark red striping, which cook to a rich, brisk puree, but sweeten in storage to make a very pleasant eating apple through the early months of the year.
