Description
Strikingly brilliant white bark and glossy leaves characterise this cultivar of the Jacquemontii group of birches. A deciduous tree suited to most soil types, it makes an oval or conical crown, and bears conspicuous catkins in early spring, followed by yellow leaf colour in the autumn. In maturity (which may be 20-50 years) this can make s superb specimen tree of up to 15m (50ft).
