Description
A new variety of Primocane blackberry - producing fruit on the current season's wood. This is the earliest cropping primocane blackberry available, so reliable even in the north of the UK where the growing season is shorter. Upright in growth, and reasonably compact so great for a small garden. Berries ripen in late August and are very large, with a lovely aromatic flavour. Prune back in March to 20cm above soil level, and then tip the new shoots when they are about 50cm tall in late May, to produce bushy side-shoots and a heavier crop.
