Buddleja alternifolia 'Unique'

Description

Quite a recent new introduction, and one of the first hybrids of the weeping buddleja Buddleja alternifolia. Forms a compact plant, excellent for a large pot or container, with silvery green foliage and long clusters of lilac-purple flowers throughout late summer and autumn. Doens't produce any pollen, so no chance of invasive seedling appearing (but does produce nectar, so is still a butterfly magent). Prune back hard every spring. Height: 1m
