Description

Originated at Norton, Somerset - this widely grown variety is not harvested until late, and keeps well - even lying on the ground. And, as it does not rot easily: so there is a saying ‘Gather your Butts one year, mill them the next, and drink the year after.’ Still a valued variety, it produces a long-keeping perry.
