Carex umbrosa

£0.00
Another grass from the huge family of sedges, but other than that - we dont have much information about this variety. 'Umbrose' may refer to 'shady' (not in the 'dodgy' sense), but because this grass is very tolerant of shade, and makes an ideal addition to woodland areas. The mid-green linear leaves are smooth and quite glossy, with thye addition of spikes of moderate red flowers appearing from May onwards.
