Description

One of the great classic late-season whites, which is easy to grow, healthy, and versatile, although it will thrive only in alkaline conditions. The grape may have originated in the north of France where it is used to produce Champagne, Chablis, and Burgundy, and bears beautiful golden-skinned grapes which, although small are good enough for dessert. This is one of the top 5 most planted varieties in the UK.
