Description
Golden Hornet produces masses of golden-yellow 2.5cms long slightly oval fruit, in clusters, which hang on the tree until well after Christmas. Also it is an excellent pollinator for other apple varieties. Unfortunately the tree can suffer badly from apple scab so is best avoided in wetter parts of the country. For help with choosing the correct rootstock for your needs, please click here A Guide to Rootstocks
