Japanese Holly Fern. The common name says it all really - native to Japan (as well as Korea and China), the long deep green glossy fronds resemble holly leaves, although not quite so prickly. Fully hardy and will tolerate quite a lot of sunshine as long as the soil remains damp. An excellent and unusual fern for the garden.
