An interesting plant that bears clusters of narrow, tubular, bright red flowers, each one with green and yellow recurved lips. Flowers are approx. 2-3cm long. The foliage is grass-like in appearance and will die back as the flower emerges. It has a habit of being dormant for a season after lifting but, do not give up, just keep it in a greenhouse and keep warm! Makes excellent cut flowers. Height 60cm (24").
