Strawberry - Flamenco

Description

Bred by Dr. David Simpson Flamenco is derived from an Evita x EMR77 cross and has been extensively trialled. Consistently uniform conical berries, medium to large in size and with a glossy orange-red colour. Good skin strength and firmness and with an excellent flavour. Class I percentage 80% or higher and with a yield potential exceeding 1kg per plant. The fruit ‘hangs’ well on the plant 'allowing for less frequent picking. Peak production is in early September.
