Soft lilac blue flowers with rounded petals and distinct are held above the grey-green leaves that have a 'felted' appearance. A hardy plant, the blooms appear in late spring to early summer, and the plant is an ideal choice for a sunny, rich, and well-drained position - but will do best with watering in dry periods.
