Bare root rose orders
We aim to start lifting and sending out bare root roses on Monday 3rd November. All orders recieved prior to that date will be sent out in the first half of November. Orders received after that date should be sent out within 7 days of the order being received.
Orders are normally sent out by overnight courier, tracking information will be sent via email on the day the parcel leaves us.
Collections - if you have chosen to collect your order from the nursery, we will be in touch by email/phone to arrange this. When we have agreed a convenient date with you, we will lift your roses on the morning you are due to collect, so they are as fresh as possible for you.
Fruit tree orders
We aim to be able to start lifting fruit trees as from Monday 17th November. We have to wait until they have gone dormant before we can start - normally the younger trees such as maidens are ready first. Depending on the weather it may be late November before we are able to move bigger/trained trees. We try and work through orders 'first come, first served', and have a lot of orders already in place, but will always strive to send out plants at a time which is convenient for you.

Soft fruit orders
Strawberry plants will not be available until late November 2025.
The runners need a little more time than normal to develop a good root system, due to the hot dry summer. Any order containing strawberry plants will be delayed until early December onwards.
Orders for other soft fruit will start to be sent out as from Monday 10th November. If you have chosen to collect your order from the nursery, we will be in touch by email/phone to arrange this. When we have agreed a convenient date with you, we will lift your plants on the morning you are due to collect, so they are as fresh as possible for you.
