Description

A very popular small flowering tree, with long arching branches. Very beautiful when in flower, crimson buds opening to clusters of pale pink flowers. Fruits are small, red and yellow. Early flowering. Introduced from its native Japan in 1862, and possibly the most beautiful of all crab apples when in flower.
