Description
Muhlenbergia capillaris
£0.00
Also known as the 'Pink', or 'Hairawn' Muhly grass, this is perhaps the best example of 150 members of this family. It forms a densely tufted mound with 30cm linear dark-green leaves, but it is the airy, open panicles of pink spikelets that sets this variety aside: The appearance of the soft, fuzzy flowers is sometimes likened to Candy Floss, and as winter approaches, although the flowers lose their colour, their dried-out plumes continue to offer visual appeal.
