Superb compact habit makes this very suitable for the smaller garden. Good crops of medium-sized round, almost flattened nuts. Good pollinator of other varieties. Raised in Newark and introduced by Messrs. Pearson and Co. of Chilwell, Notts. Also known as Nottingham Prolific.
