Description

Royal Fern. Possibly the most imposing of all the hardy ferns - once established the fronds can be up to 2m long and 1m wide. New orange stems unfurl in Spring to reveal bright moss-green spreading blades, maturing to a darker mid-green. A native species, this thrives in damp woodland and on the banks of streams - a truly stunning fern.
