Description
A valued and flavoursome pear from the 19th Century much grown in the Clydeside and Gowrie fruit regions. The tree is vigorous and it flowers late, thus protecting it from frosts. The fruit is flavoursome with sweet juicy soft flesh - but with a tendency to become mealy if left too long on the tree. For help with choosing the correct rootstock for your needs, please click here A Guide to Rootstocks
