Description

One of the oldest vareities of perry pear, widely planted in traditional orchards across the South West in the 1800 and 1900's. A very tough and hardy variety, producing heavy crops of small yellow pears with a slight russetting. Originally used for cooking, but now considered an excellent pear for producing perry, with medium acidity and low levels of tannin.
