Description
One of the more famous and more widely available of the traditional Scottish pears, and is very garden-worthy. Large, sweet fruit, bright green by developing a red flush when exposed to the sun, these make fantastic dessert fruit. As with almost all pears, will need another pear nearby to cross pollinate. Ripening in mid-September. Also known as Winter Christie. For help with choosing the correct rootstock for your needs, please click here A Guide to Rootstocks
