Description
Pilularia globulifera
£0.00
Pillwort. An unusual native fern, which grows at the edges of lakes, ponds and ditches, producing slender grass-like fronds each spring. More suited as a marginal aqautic plant, as it likes being underwater during the winter, so excellent for a bog garden. A rare species, in decline as its wetland habitats are reduced.
