Description
An excellent early dessert plum, bred in Sweden in 1925 as a cross between Early Favourite (an old English plum) and Oullins Gage. Opal has inherited the best traits of both parents - having heavy crops of small yellow-orange fruit flushed with purple, with an outstanding flavour.
