Description
Raised by the renowned Rivers nursery of Sawbridgeworth and introduced in 1901. The fruit is blue-black, large and oval shaped, and the yellow flesh does not cling to the stone. A vigorous and upright grower that crops late and heavily, but as the branches can tend towards brittleness - a good pruning regime is advised to minimise the risk of breakage. For help with choosing the correct rootstock for your needs, please click here A Guide to Rootstocks
