Description

Superb dense clusters of rich purple very double flowers that fade to a mauve-grey with occasional white flecks. Good disease resistance. Raised by Louis Benoit van Houtte (Belgium) 1900 from a cross between Turner’s Crimson Rambler x unknown.Will tolerate a shady position, the growth is nearly thornless, and the leaves are small.RHS AGM 1994
